living in springfield

Springfield Township is a beautiful, residential community located in Union County, New Jersey, just 24 miles outside of NYC. New Jersey Monthly magazine ranked Springfield in the Top 100 best places to live in New Jersey in its 2010 rankings of the “Best Places to Live” in New Jersey and in June 2010, Newsweek named Springfield’s Jonathan Dayton High School as one of the best high schools in the county.

Springfield has a variety of recreation programs, several parks, a newly built, state of the art football field, running track and community pool to enjoy during the summer months. A sprinkling of restaurants, fitness centers, and nearby shopping and hiking trails make this the perfect suburban location. Home of the Baltusrol Golf Club, host of the 2005 PGA Championship is an added perk for the avid golfer.

Traveling to the city via the Park & Ride Jitney service to the NJ Short Hills Transit Station or the NJ Transit Bus to Port Authority make Springfield a great living spot for commuters.

Springfield is a great place to live, work and raise a family!
